Welcome to Butterfly Gardens of Saugeen Shores located along the beautiful shores of Lake Huron in Ontario, Canada. We are a non profit community action group formed in 2014 to help protect Monarch butterflies and pollinators by planting milkweed and native plants. These pods provide food source for caterpillars, adult butterflies and other pollinators. We would love for you to visit our 17 certified pods throughout picturesque Saugeen Shores. Plan a day trip to walk or bike our Pods. Each Pod is located in a special location in Saugeen Shores where you can enjoy the sights and wonderment of the area. Come and visit our Butterfly Gardens of Saugeen Shores along the Captain Spence Path in Southampton, the Saugeen Railtrail, Fairy Lake in Southampton, MacGregor Point Provincial Park, Perkins Park, and the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre. All of these pods have been registered as certified Monarch Waystation. Pods are ideal for all age groups to enjoy. Bring a picnic, your camera, sketching book and writing journal to make everlasting memories of your visit to Butterfly Gardens of Saugeen Shores.
